Possible research areas include the synthesis of components for energy conversion, including for example research in catalysis, nanostructures, supramolecular, or functional coordination compounds. The candidate should demonstrate an exceptional potential to develop innovative research programmes and be willing to cooperate within and outside the University of Bern. The candidate is expected to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate teaching curriculum in Inorganic Chemistry and General Chemistry for students of chemistry, biochemistry and other disciplines within the Faculty of Science.
