Technical Workshop

The fully equipped modern workshop of the Theodor Kocher Institute and the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences offers its services to various institutes of the University of Bern such as

  • design, construction and fabrication of experimental technical devices, prototypes, parts and spare parts according to the specified requirements of researchers, teaching staff and students from the first sketch to the finished product
  • repairing technical devices
  • providing support in all technical aspects

Apprenticeship Training

Every two years we offer an interesting apprenticeship position for polymechanics in the workshop. For the apprenticeship period starting in August 2022, the position in polymechanics at the DCBP is filled.
